What is *a pram?*
What is *a pram?*

But I still don't get what you meant in the way you used it... can't you English people speak better American?!??

Got this from Wikipedia:
Pram may refer to:
[ul][*]A conveyance for baby transport, "perambulator" in full [/ul]
I always called it a stroller, but I guess babies don't lay down in the stroller. I had no idea that is what those things were called... I learned something today I guess.
Jay, I thought you guys would know this one ..when someone gets all bent out of shape or has a tantrum here, certainly on UK forums we say "so you threw all your toys out the pram" or "dont throw your toys out the pram!!"
Get it??
Jules
Get it??
Jules

I get it... but here in the US I don't of anyone that uses one of those things... they all have strollers or those baby carry-along things... seriously, I know alot of peoplewith kids now and not one of them uses a pram
Gosh, I really am surprised ... I thought pram was a more general term, yes we say the baby is in the pram or the smaller buggy ...
Stroller?? ..lol I refer to someone who walks as a stroller, someone who strolls
