65 miles shouldn't be a problem. I rode mine to Mid-Ohio for the AMA Superbike races the last 2 years and it's 180 miles one way. You WILL, however, have to get rid of the stock seat!

i certainly appreciate the help from everyone, 13br the pics were alot of help (well most of them). after seeing how high the sitting position is and it does seem that everyone agree's that it's not the most comfortable ride, i'm certainly having second thoughts. i do use my f4i to commute a few times a week (65 miles). sounds like i should start hunting for a new 1000rr or keep my f4i, which i am perfectly happy with, i'd just like to have some more torque.
my friend just installed a new corbin seat on his before we left for vegas the other day and he loves it.
