where on fire here in san diego.
where is a fire like right over the mountin next to us. the skys are turning yellow. it is wired. the smoke is effecting my breathing. i dont think the fire will reach us but who knows the dam wind is so dam strong. on my ride home from work my bike was getting pushed soo much by the wind. it was the wierdist thing.

absolutely aware of your conditions their you have my deepest concerns for your well-being have friends family in the area myself and have been monitoring the story all day am surprised that you are the first to mention it here of course I have not been online long

Yep. My roommate's (well, land-lord technically) parents just visited here over the weekend, and then found out the winds blew one of their HUGE trees into their house. Come to find out a couple of hours later that they are a few miles from one of the big fires. It really sucks, I couldn't imagine being put in that situation of being able to do nothing about it.

Rigt there with ya, I'm up in Big Bear, the Green Valley Lake and Arrow Head Fires are due West of us here. Were ok here but my sister and brother in lawhave a house in Running Springs they havebeen mandatory evac'ed out,they arein a hotel in Fontana waitin to see if they lose there house or not. Hell there's one by my daughter in Rancho Santa Margarita even. I think somebodys settin em, way too maney fires to be just random.

We had a fire here several years ago called "The Biscuit Complex" fire and it was a rough one. 500,000 acres burned! I feel for you, bro. Do they have it contained at all?

Just make sure you get out if you have to. I know a few years ago when there were bad fires, my g'pa lives there by San Diego, Escondido...I think?, and the fires were right down the street. That **** can spread quick, I would be packing everything you can and loading it in the car or something just in case, while you still have time. Are they really close to you guys?

my folks got evacuated from their home yesterday (rancho penasquitos). ...and now (according to google maps), the fire is about 2 miles from them, and closing. kinda scary... scary like working for a company that wants its employees to show up during all of this....anybody know of a web or video company hiring in san diego?

I don't have to tell you that his is a scary thing guys. I hope they get them taken care of ASAP.
What takes so long with these fires BTW, is it lack of manpower?
