The ones made by Purolator can be looked up on their site. There is a PDF with most MC listings and if IIRC most Honda sportbikes all take the same one. Once I got the number I went to Amazon and ordered enough to get me to $25 for the free shipping. The filters meet or exceed OEM specs.
One thing to watch out for though is Amazon changes prices daily. The first dayI looked up the filters it was $12 for two. A few days later it was like $7 or $8 for two. Order in advance because mine took almost two or three weeks to get. Since the bike was sitting for the winter I was in no hurry and I now have half a dozen sitting there for the bike and half a dozen for the truck.
I take the savings and either pocket it or use syn blend or full syn instead of DINO. Oil change costs the same and I get to use better oil.
