In that last one - the filmer is a douche - I couldn't sit there and watch this happen, even if I wasn't a motorcycle owner. Step in - good slap to the side glass to scare the bejeebus out of them and tell em to carry on down the road. I doubt you'll get a confrontation.

The problem w/ today's society is lack of fundamental respect for others & their property.

I've written about two personal incidents here b/f...

I was sitting at a cafe & I saw a lady w/ her 4 yr old approach my CBR. I thought they just wanted to look at my bike b/c the kid was so excited. However, when they got to it, she lifted the kid up & stood him on my gas tank! I got up & ran out there! The kid was jumping up & down on top of the tank like it was a carnival ride! As I was running toward them, I yelled for the lady to get her kid off my bike. She reacted like I was a raving lunatic. Thankfully, no damage was done & the bike didn't fall over. It could've been a bad situation all around. I gave her a lecture about 'etiquette' & safety but doubt it registered.

Another time, I was around town w/ my RC51. I came out of a store to find a little kid sitting on the front fender facing the front cowl & holding onto the mirrors like they were handlebars! His brother was on the left side of my RC ripping out the backside fairing foam (around radiator) from my left side fairing! Their dad was standing there watching & laughing like it was the funniest thing! I nearly planted my boot in his backside. He got a 'lecture' too! Thankfully, the front fender wasn't broken or cracked.

Agreed. I constantly worry about my bike when I leave it places for fear of it being knocked over or stolen.

I always have my alarm on. I think people get irritated but so what. I also put 2 corn around my bike so they will not park close to me. Somehow, if I just have one corn in the back, people tend to come into the stall next to me crossing the line. Ever since someone backed into my bike and knocked down, when I go to gym and park between cars on the street, I have the fear that when car backs out, he may not see me.

Back to the topic, I do not touch anybody else's car or motorcycle. I will look from far and admire.

Lol wait someone here know's me? I usually lurk here. I'm building a stuntbike though so building it ground up has been expensive. I think it was like $2400 for the bike and I just put another $1500 this past winter. Once I get my cage on I won't really care if it gets knocked over because I'm going to be doing a **** load more damage in the lot. i do worry constantly about getting my **** stolen though.
