Default When OG bikes feels NEW...

So I was riding down PCH today and then stop at traffic light. Car to my right, nice fellow say hey bro...nice bike! I said tks! he says you just got it NEW? What year is it (meaning late models) I said it's a 94'....he say you gotta be chittin me...bike look brand new!!!

So to those older model CBR owners...take good care of your bikes!!! It's really rewarding when people may think it's a NEWER model....

I know there are many similar stories here...please share & post pics...

Haven't had any compliments yet, but the bike has only been painted for 2 days Although, my husband took it to his shop to show his coworkers yesterday and told me a little boy was all excited in a car pointing it out to his parents lol

Default An old feller

I had an old guy come up to me and shrug his shoulders at my bike.... no noise.. just a shrug. I take it as a compliment, he was thinking "He must get a lot of pu$$e with that bike.... SHRUG!"

My reply,
or he was a harley rider that thought "sh*t, his bike probably doesn't leak any oil, nor does it break down every 100 miles".

IMHO, honda has always been WAY ahead of the rest of the big4 in the way of looks especially. i mean, compare the 900rr with its competitors. compare the '03 600rr with it's competitors. it looks light years ahead in styling.

Had an older guy at the beach yesterday complimenting my bike. I told him I was from my town which is two hours a way and he was like that's a long trip but I suppose if I spent that much on a bike I'd ride it a lot as well and something about how he's to old now. Anyway I was like oh no I only paid 1100 for that bike. His eyes got all big and he was like wow a new bike like that for that little of a price? What was wrong with it. I then told him its a 92'. He shook his head and said no way. Walked off shaking his head. I think he thought I was messing with him.

It does not look like an f4i so idk where you get 2000+ The old man thought it was a newer bike as its quite a clean bike and has some updates.
