If you could afford an original '71 Hemi Cuda, you could get all the Esprit's you could want.

Speaking of the Barracuda, I just saw a white haired couple driving one around town a couple of months ago. Possibly all original. It was white, and had one little rust spot. Not a Hemi, but a neat car nonetheless...and in excellent shape for the age.

I could never afford to buy a pristine one. But I could afford to restore one myself to pristine condition if I was willing to devote the time and finances to it. Me and my bro always have a restoration project or two going on, just finishing up a 72 Nova SS. If it wasn't for the way the economy is going we'd have already opened up our own shop. Theres a early 70's cuda, supposedly a hemi cuda, in a junk yard about an hour away. Body's rusted but the frames solid and the numbers matching hemi block is supposed to be sitting in it still. He wants a couple grand for it but I know the guy and could talk him down. Muscle cars are cash sinks over the long run but they are only really expensive to get into if your not into building your own.

Seriously?! If you don't want it, turn me on to it. Love those old Mopars. Esprit's too. Put some pictures up of the SS. Would love to see it.
