But why do only people that own a business get to carry business cards? My Ex-Girlfriend doesnt own a business and yet carries business cards. My Brother Works for BofA and carries business cards. My Father is a construction worker and carries business cards. so its pointless for them to carry business cards then right? Ill get on the phone and let them know.

Considering i got my first offical business card when i was 18... The whole "college student" thing is irrelevant as well.

Young Professionals (if they are "professionals") Should also have business cards too. Unless they are on the lower totem of the totem pole of course. Which with my employees (no matter rank) i try to give them business cards to PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE.

You dont need to own a business to have a business card.

1. You are not worthy of being able to directly contact someone of my caliber ( that's what supervisors are for: mollifying you by pretending to be communicative )
2. You may only be graced with my presence if the gods smile upon you and assign me to take care of your trivial problem.
3. When I'm done solving whatever problem you had that used less than 1% of my mental capabilities, you may not contact me again.
4. If you begin to attempt to grow a brain and try contacting me on the # I precalled you from using the caller id, you will discover that number goes directly to a voicemail that I never answer (1-800-****-OFF was taken)

So I do not carry business cards Ok seriously, I don't mix business and pleasure (potential or realized). So if I were to use this particular method of picking up women, I'd have a second set of business cards completely disconnected from my actual work. This comes from witnessing what happens when psycho chick that someone barely knew decides to display her mental instability and potential for chaos at people's place of work.

So it's a good idea to have business card. It's a bad idea to have business cards. Everyone can be happy about having or not having business cards. And everyone can go back to playing nice now
