That is just pathetic, people beg for money etc at gas stations and its just wrong. We all work hard for what we have and ill be dam if i just hand it over so easy. I don't mind to help someone or even pay it forward, but you see too many people stand at gas stations and interstate off ramps begging for money. you should be able to get gas without being harassed by some loser who wants to beg. I have helped a few people with gas before and I pay for it and watch them pump it, I would not hand them cash as you never know.

Yea beggers are annoying, sometimes I feel bad, other times idk what to think/feel... did you know NYC 'panhandlers' can make up to $100 per day begging for money? Wow.

Had a group of guys hit me up for gas money once. I'd been around them long enough to make a judgement as to the truthfulness of their plea. Had them meet me at a gas a station/convenience store, filled their car and paid the bill. Boy, were they ticked off. Guess they didn't want the gas after all.
Guess what...today after work i stop blockbuster to rent "the Gray" DVD....had a few dollars left over...so I decide to add little gas...little at time won't hurt much...
Again!!!! I was approach by a couple asking for a dollar!! WTF...this is not even same gas station...That 2x in a week...

Here in Italy there are gypsies standing on damn near every corner begging for money. They all know no to not even ask me. LOL. I'm telling you, Shakira wouldn't sing that damn song if she spent a week here!

Damn man. Its tough out there in SoCal.
Like you said almost $5 a gallon, then people see you on a bike, assume you have alot of $$$ and beg.
