What pisses me off the most about other riders are....

no helmet
wearing shorts
no gear
no shirt (instant badass)
revs it up at every bike or fast car
puts stickers all over the bike with dumass sayings
wears no helmet with bandana around head (another insta badass)
harleys that think there fast
doesnt let u past if ur going faster then them on a two lane with traffice (cruisers)
Cruisers that look around doin 50mph in a 55

 

....
speeding & weaving in/out of traffic...pretty much riding like an a**hole

 

I got behind a couple warlocks the other day when I was in my cage. They both had chromed out noise makers, the one had gorilla bars. I will give the guy with the gorilla bar some credit because he did a wheelie at one of the the stoplights, he just popped it up and almost got bucked off when he came down but he got it up. Other then that though they were splitting cars and weaving in and out of traffic, no gear other then their brain buckets.

 

Don't you know that putting stickers on your bike will make your bike much faster. Everybody knows this.

 

That and the no gear..redlining it at stoplights is pretty aggravating too.

 

Being aggressive for no reason;

Showing off because they think they got something better;

and,

Wearing no gear at all--pretty much riding like being dressed for a day at the park;

 

There is something worse than not wearing the gear...

When you see those twips with their helmet popped up on their head. Like they believe if there is an accident, the helmet will pop down on their head and protect them. Instead of the reality of popping off, bouncing along merrily and smacking their prone bleeding body

 

I guess wearing shorts & T shirts would have to be my biggest thing, next would be people that ride like maniacs with a pillion perched up on the back seat hanging on for dear life.

Whats wrong with a bike sticker? I got one on the back (ok only small) that say's "Motorcycling is Magic" & one of the back of my car that says "Motorcycle Aware Driver"

 

I could care less if others dont wear gear, has no effect on me.

For me its when some of these guys open their mouths, ive met some of the coolest people i know on bikes. But i gotta say i have also met some of the biggest dumba**es.

 

Well it kinda does. Sometimes when I tell people I have a motorcycle, especially a sports bike, I have to endure lectures and recriminations stemming from someone who doesn't ride safely.

Just because some 19 yro blew past them @ 95 mph wearing a wife beater and basketball shorts doesn't mean all riders of sports bikes are like that. During that first victory lap, I musta lost 5 lbs sweating from my gear. B'sides, the helmet helps hide the lil grey sneaking in (mustaches is starting to grey).

All riders help to create an image. Yes its stereotypical and unfair to be judged because of others. Sorta like my 'over / under hill' thread.
