I had my first crash today. low sided while being stupid. luckily i was wearing gear and was able to walk away from it mostly untouch, just a little rash on my knee and a big bruise where i landed on my cell phone.

the bike isn't pretty but its all cosmetic except a radiator hose that is loose and leaking.

So I guess its time for a new color scheme and to test my skills with a paint sprayer.

probably going to go with something along these lines since my tank is untouched and my tail and upper is mostly mint. my mid took most of hit. most likely going to put a cage on her once i paint it and have the money.

 

Sorry to hear George, but sounds like it could have been a lot worse.

Hate to see these threads[:@] But at least ya got it out of the way. Glad it wasn't too bad. You might be sore the next couple of days ... I know my last crash wasn't too major but the next two days I felt like I'd received a beating.

 

Lamentations, glad you walked away ok. Leave your bike fer a few days. maybe it won't be as bad as you think. I got around repairs on one of my bikes by doing most of the prep work & buying the paint & then bought a mate who was handy with a spray gun, a carton of cold beer for his work. Plus side of that it was cheap & I got to drink quite a few of the coldies while I watched him spray paint it. Still a bugger when you drop your baby though.

 

Glad you are still here to post about it. Take care and get her back on the road as soon as you can. That,as much asanything, will help you forget all about the pain.
