Man that sucks. Atleast its the end of the season and you have all winter to put a bitchen paint job on her.

glad to hear your alright, hate to read about these kinda posts. Luckly it sounds like both you and your biked faired pretty well. how's did the cell phone hold up?

 

first crash ever on a motorcycle. I had a pretty good record too, a year and a half. I have always heard the first year you have it is when you are most likely to crash.

the cell phone is just shy of destroyed, it road rashed the out side pretty bad and broke the screen inside. I wish it hadn't broke the screen because it actually looks kinda cool all beat up.

I am probably going to get her running atleast this week and hopefully painted soon, no winter tear down, our season never ends.

defiantly asking for a full leather suit for Xmas. that and new gloves, mine saved my hands but gave their life in the process.

 

sounds like a success story to me.

 

Gear saves lives. How is the helmet looking? Helmets are only good for 1 crash.

 

Doesn't matter how it looks, like you said, helmets are only good for one crash. I've had sex and the condom looked fine when I was done, but I wouldn't trust it again.

 

sorry to hear about your misfortune, chief. but, like its been said already........you're here to tell us about it and thats all that matters. are you going to be able to post pics of your bike/gear? how many miles did you put on the bike in that year and a half? just curious. i made it to 20k i think before my 1st accident but it was JUST after 1st year of riding (like literaly the following month).

the helmet is fine, didn't even touch the ground, i landed on my left hip and rolled across my knees then slid on butt. my jacket has a few minor scuffs but you have to look for them. the pants i had on are shedded though.

for those who need to look at something, this is the new color scheme i am going with (yes i know its an r1 but i think it will look sick on my bike) and all the damage is where the white and black will be so i can leave the red alone. and some pics of the pants.
