Default Well, i got another shipment...

I didn't really take pictures because it isn't all THAT fun, but i can later...

i order a full monty bolt kit from Pro-Bolts in annodized black to replace all my fairing bolts etc...i also got a anno red oil cap....also got a little 25 piece anno red bolt kit for free (which i now have to buy more of lol)...

so essentially this is how it went down...i have tried to paint bolts using a variety of things, from spray paint, spary with a clearcoat, hardened paint, powdercoat....nothing really can withstand the torquing and the constant tool applications...

so i bought the probolt kit in anno black and i love it...(not to mention it's lighter, i know, i know)....so i replaced the windscreen bolts, all the fairing bolts, gas cap bolts, all in black...

it comes with some other stuff, but i didn't use all of it because i have an undertail etc....

i also picked up a free 25 piece red bolt kit....turns out, i LOVE how the red pop off my powdercoated stuff and looks like i am going to be doing the rear, i.e., peg polts, rearset polts, hanger bolts, heel guard bolts, etc....all in anno red....i'll take a pic later...i sort of had to use misc bolts because the free kit is just sort of a mishmash so i didn't have enough of any one kind, but i just wanted to test out the look and it looks like i'll be back ordering more bolts...haha....

overall, the stuff is great...my ONLY beef is that honda has some interesting bolts with locating collars and whatnot....for the most part, all the bolts they give you work no problems....there is one bolt, the ones for the lower fairings that attach by the rearsets at the very backmost part....for some reason, honda decided to use a the same head bolt as the other fairing bolts, but use smaller pitched thread...as a result, the kit doesn't give you a big head bolt with a small thread...so i had to use a smaller head bolt, which still works (looks better IMO too)...but doesn't locate it very well...doesn't bother me, but just to let you know...

if people want pictures, let me know....

oh and their site...btw...they have a TON of cool bolts and stuff in a TON of colors...things like sprocket nuts, pre-load adjusters, etc...
