It's opening day of firearm deer season here in Michigan. Just getting ready to head out and thought I'd see how many of my fellow cbrf members hunt.

 

Haven't been hunting since I was a teenager living in the sticks in Virginia. Even then all I hunted was squirrels, but they were pretty tasty. Had to clean & cook them myself, Mom & sister were repulsed by it all, but Dad and I tore them up.

i dont hunt nothing against it, just not my thing. I have some family that loves hunting i just have other things ide rather do in my spare time

like mess with my bike haha

 

hunting for me starts the Monday after Black Friday. i'm hoping the wolves and coyotes haven't wiped everything out of my area for this year. i still haven't figured out the point of the people who have been trucking them in and releasing them...though i figure if i take a crack or two at any i see will get me into trouble

 

i dont hunt...I'd like too just havent ever got my hunteres ed yet but I do have a few hunting rifles

I don't hunt though, nothing against it, just that it's cold, it's early, and I'm lazy just not going to happen.

 

Ive never been hunting but i want to learn and go. I think it would be fun.

 

Yeah, I hunt. I don't think I'm gonna go get a deer this year, though. I probably should (I could use the meat) but I've been busy with other things.
Instead, I'll just beg for deer meat from the dudes I work with. lol..

+1 lol my cousin always gets at least one on his land usually more... ima have to snag some jerky and meat off him..

 

Seeing how they have grocery stores these days, why go hunt for it??
