That carrier wouldn't even hold a CBR. You're talking roughly 416lbs for an '04 CBR.

ok thanks guys, well i was thinking bout it cause im gettin tired of leaving town in my car and not being able to take it with me...so thats why i was asking

It worked great for my trip of over 1200 miles.

By car I hope you mean big truck, because you will not be able to haul a cbr without a class 3 hitch and the ability to support 500 lbs of tongue weight.

I still wouldn't trust it. get a pick up truck or small trailer.

I have a carrier a lot like "Jutsin"'s, I bought mine from GC-Carriers, they're in OK. It works the same way his appears to. It just loads to the tongue of the truck and strap that baby down. I drove my 600RR (07) from Wichita Falls, TX to Seattle, WA up over the mountains and it did just fine. It wobbled a little, but as soon as you got on the highway, it was fine. I just made sure and checked all the tie down straps everytime we stopped just to give my self the piece of mind. Just look at the tongue of the truck you want to haul it on, it will say its max weight. I know the carrier I got is heavier than sh!$. I wouldn't trust one that weight a tenth of the bikes weight.
