Default 929 Weight?

I did a search but came up with nothing. I was curious about how much the '01 929 weighs.

TIA

They weigh 379 dry. That really illustrates the incredible engineering that went into the 929 - that same year CBR600 weighed 375! They bump up the CC's over 50%, and added 40+ horses, and she only gained 4 pounds. If you really want to gain an appreciation of what a fabulous machine you own, as well as get a nice list of its specs, go to http://www.motorsports-network.com/H...2000/929RR.htm

Sweet, thanks for the quick response and the helpful link.

You know, I'm finding out more and more after buying this bike that it seems to be "rare".

Quite odd actually, I didn't know that when I bought, all I knew after test riding it that it put my ZX7 to shame, which kinda hurt because I really loved my 7.

Anyways, I also own a 1995 Impala SS which is also a rare find, limited production, especially in the condition that mine is in.

This is my first bike. I'm a 48 year old corporate jet mechanic, and my plan was to someday buy a Harley, like all my pilot's have. Then one day I'm doing 70 down the thruway in my car, and two guys about 500 yards up the road on the shoulder are mounting up their sprotbikes and then gently pulling out into the right lane. I pull into the middle to give em room - mind you, I'm less than a hundred yards behind them at this point, they are barely doing 20 and I'm still doing 70 - and I never caught them. They disappeared like the freaking Starship Enterprize. They had to do 20 to 100 in 6 seconds.
I though to myself ..... "THAT is a freaking MACHINE, man."
That's when I started researching, and discovered the 929 - an amazing machine, mind boggling feat of engineering, unbelievable handling, etc etc etc....
Gotta love it, man.
