sucks for both of you... we all fall down at one point or another but like havoc said bikes can be fixed... just don't let it get you down I hope you guys keep riding

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your accident. Where's a good samaritain when you need one? I'm glad ya'll are in good shape and got to walkaway, but I hopethe bike's repairable and not so costly.

Damn! THat **** sucks man! Arggg I hater cagers! AND a RIDER went by & didn't stop? WTF? Glad your all good man! If the bike is totaled, buy it back (CHEAP) and streetfighter it and the 900 out!

If you got the name of the contracter or the type of the truck, take them to court! I know here in Utah if anything falls off your car/truck/bike and causes an accident you get the privilege of covering everybodies insurance and a HUGE ticket.Had a friend's car get totaled by a roof truss that fell off a semi(he and his mom spent months in the hospital). He basically owns that trucking company now.

Just for the record though, full gear doesn't stop at jacket, helmet and gloves.

What about the driver of the truck, last I knew anyone hauling anything is responsible for their cargo. Get a plate? Intersection have cameras?
