Pics or your full of ****!
Oh and as long as i can count money im good. I seriously dont need algebra in my "line of work"
Is it me or does Z sound pretty pissed about this algebra question.....
And a 08 1000rr tail on a 929 would remind me of that 954 with the r1 tail.....that **** was horrible looking....I threw up in my mouth when i seen the video

^^^^ lets not forget you said my 05 tail was gonna look like anus now you like it lol....
pertaining to that post (if you keep reading down a few posts after that, I stated later its all designed, im just waiting for some donated parts to arrive to start working on it, you know something to keep me occupied during riding season, and install it this winter but ive come up with all the parts, prices, templates, and places of which to get the stuff i need. Its all priced and designed out)
as for the algebra question.... i dont think anyone who answers it incorrectly is and more unintelligent then the person who answers it correctly.
personally i hurried through it and got it wrong, if you take your time and get your facts straight though youll get it right... or perhaps math isnt a strong suit for some as it is for others
but like ill always say, most people i know got straight A's in hs, but cant change their damn bike oil

Exactly! Left to right doesnt work because of order of operations () then multiplication/division, then adding/subtracting. depending on whats being used determines the starting point. 1+1x6/2 as an example. You cant do that left to right because the multiplication/division comes first due to order of operations.
1+1x6/2 =4 And your example is relevant in no way whatsoever.
*****. guys the answer would be 2 if it was written like this : 48÷[2(9+3)] = 2
However, it is NOT and thus you must compute the numbers within the parentheses first, and then use order of operations from left to right to find the solution:
1. (9+3) = (12)
2. 48 / 2 = 24
3. 24 X (12) = 288
Why would you multiply 2(12) first when order of operations dictates that you must go from left to right when division and multiplication are on equal terms? There is no imaginary bracket that tells you to multiply 2(12) before dividing 48 by 2 first. Like I said, some of you are reading the question like this:
48 / [ 2 ( 12 ) ] = 2
even though it is written like this:
48 / 2 X 12 = 288

YES!!!! hahaha
During the order of operations when you have multiplication and division you HAVE to start from left to the right
so you must do 48/2
since the distributive property is a form of multiplying this cannot happen until after 48/2 which equals 24 then you could distribute 24( 9+3) which = 216 + 72 = 288
I hope this helps explain...
uh I think I explained very clearly why you are wrong

YES YES YES!!!!
You are wrong. That is NOT the order of operations.
