Congratulations to all of those motorcycle enthusiasts who can do UN common math better than me....

Now go do something relevant, perhaps design a subframe to fit a 08 1000rr tail on a 929, 2 custom scrolling integrated knight rider led tail light boards,a reverse transparent undertail, and a 1 off exhaust for it

all of which ive done in the last day and a half, and have it designed beautifully

and get back with me...

k thx

treat 48/2 as a fraction it is and multiply it by twelve...which is how the equation is written.

If the engineers can't figure out a simple equation like this, it's no wonder this country's industries have gone to other countries. people complain about outsourcing, but stuff like this helps explain the why.

it wasnt to long ago we destroyed millions in tax payers dollars crashing a rocket into mars because we forgot to switch the units of measurement from english to metric...

Yeah, its too bad the people who do math everyday cant do math. Good thing people who don't have to do math are there to tell them how math works.

I'm out of here. My math has never lead to any failures in my engineering career, Ill keep doing it the way I've always have.

I have however figured out how to accomplish everything... (ex. materials, suppliers, templates, so on)

not bad for a day and a half of mental work...

this is also why i need a carrier designing things.... my mind tumbles on stuff like this all the time (this one was just good enough to act on)

Pics or your full of ****!

Oh and as long as i can count money im good. I seriously dont need algebra in my "line of work"

Is it me or does Z sound pretty pissed about this algebra question.....

And a 08 1000rr tail on a 929 would remind me of that 954 with the r1 tail.....that **** was horrible looking....I threw up in my mouth when i seen the video

During the order of operations when you have multiplication and division you HAVE to start from left to the right
so you must do 48/2
since the distributive property is a form of multiplying this cannot happen until after 48/2 which equals 24 then you could distribute 24( 9+3) which = 216 + 72 = 288

I hope this helps explain...

uh I think I explained very clearly why you are wrong

You don't need it...but engineers do. And its pretty sad that people can't CORRECTLY solve this problem.
