I wax the tank ( because of the tank bag) still, but everything else uses Honda shine (If I wash my bike at all). I use Nanowax plus a P21s topcoat on the tank.

Anything you would use on car paint will work on bike paint. It's the same thing. I use Turtle F21 only b/c it's cheap and reasonably effective. My bike needs a wash.... bad.

Never waxed mine.I use plexus on everything esp after long rides..Cleans and shines everything.
Only thing that needs washing on mine is the wheels but i only do those every few weeks.

If i was to use wax turtle wax ICE is some good stuff.

When it says, "not plastics". Its talking about unpainted plastic, like the black trim. Painted plastic is fine.

Turtle Wax's ICE just came out with another bottle that you can use on unpainted plastic.

any type of wax is good to use on your plastics. The more "high end" waxes have more carnuba in them. That's what you want. Mother's works wonders for me. Between waxes when I wash her, I usually use a spray while you dry wax, such as meguires, or eagle one. U just spray it on before you dry and wipe and buff as normal. It really puts on a nice shine and works well....just doesn't last as long.

I stopped using that when it left obscene amounts of swirls in my whips.
