Default vinyl wrap on bikes

does anyone know if this is possible to do your self without buying a bunch of machines and printers? I can tint car windows and it seems to be pretty much the same process but it is definitely something I know nothing about right now. A kid i used to ride with had a friend that was in the profession and did work with a lot of drag cars and a few monster trucks but he moved and i dont have his number or know where he lives anymore so I can't get his help.

does anyone know of someone that does it as a side job where i can get it done cheaper or even get the wrap and apply it myself?

Is it possible, Yes. Will it be a pain, Yes. When I wanted to paint my bike I thought about doing a wrap as I have a family friend who wraps cars for a living. He said it would be a huge pain due to all the curves like the tank and air intakes so I chose to go with paint.

I would like to go with a nice paint job but its so much more expensive because i have a really intricate design I want that would need to be air brushed and a vinyl wrap is just printed out and melted on.

has anyone that went this route found any pros or cons?

pros

1) cheaper
2) you know what the design looks like b4 its on the bike

Cons

1) cant fix rock chips
2) if it starts to peel ur screwed
3) very time intensive and if u mess up its game over

other than that
