I went against a 3000 back in '06 for a mag shoot out. The Galant blew up 2 engines and didn't finish due to issues he had. Odd since I have a friend that has one and has 500 wheel on pump. It was a cool car but he had some major issues.

Any more pics of yours?

Not trying to stir the pot but IMO, that's because it's a Mitsubishi.

Most all of the Mitsus I've ever seen have had some sort of major issue or another, be it reliability or longevity.

I love the Evolution and think it's on-paper, a slightly better performer than Subaru's STi, but Subuaru, while quirky, is known for their durability, reliability and tenacity. That is why I bought an STi rather than an Evo.

/tangent. LOL

LOL sportbike_Mike.....
Owning a Mitsubshi is like a Love and Hate Relationship. They stink. But if you build them right and dont Beat the **** out of them. Thier good cars. I built that motor in 2010. I only have 3500 miles on it. Great weekend car with blue skies is the only time I bring it out. I added couple pics to earlier post.

Another little issue with mitsus round here is that they rot. Those bodypanels are like tinfoil, finding a mitsubishi here from the early 90s that HASN'T been welded at least once is like chasing unicorns... My Volvo on the other hand is 14 years of age and not a single spot of rust even with nearly half a million on the clock.

I almost just posted a link to this thread when he started the other one.

But then that may have taken some extra work to find the link.

All good now, though.

There were other cars there too. A 300zx, NSX, Galant VR-4, Evo, Subbie, a 3000GTand Me. The 3000GT had pics taken on a hoist for the mag shoot since it couldn't make it out and did testing AFTER the event was over. lol The VR-4 blew up.

I don't take offense at all.
