Uuuhh...yeah...
I head towards 7-11 30 minutes ago to get a large coffee.
At this time of night, east and west traffic lights are blinking yellow...
North and South, less traffic on this particular street, are blinking red.
I pull up heading west, into the turn left lane.
There is 2 cars in front of me.
Heading East is a car planning to go straight.
Heading south is another car planning to go straight south.
These 4 cars sit there....trying to figure out what to do.
Look...********.
When lights are like this, the 4 way intersection has basically turned into a 4 way stop sign...
EXCPET FO THE EAST AND WEST BOUND, YELLOW BLINKING LIGHTS, WHICH DON'T HAVE TO STOP, BUT should
"proceed with caution."
Anyhoo...finally these dips manage to stumble through.
Wait, now here is the good part.
A cop comes into the 7-11 as I am paying for my coffee...
I pay up and leave...but decide to take a smoke and coffee break outside.
Officer comes out, and I say..."hello officer..how ya doing?"
"Good...you doing alright?"
"Yeah...decent"
I then tell the cop as he is standing there what I had just witnessed in our local motoring public, laughingly told him how funny and stupid the
average driver is.
When I get to the flashing red lights, and tell him that people should know to stop, then proceed if safe, he thinks a minute...scratches
his head...and says...
"Yeah...I guess you can. Yeah...you're right.."
This guy is serving and protecting me?
I feel much better now.

I don't see what the problem is. BMG witnessed idiots (like we all do) and made small talk with an officer because said officer has to deal with said idiots on a regular basis.
