Cool Mack!!!!!!!!! I grew up go'n to seafair in Seattle... still hopelessly addicted to 'em... used to be an old thriftway boat on its side at a good will... i'd just drool !!!!!! I own'd one of bill muncy's personal wood hull drag boats, shouda kept it. Don't laugh... I've serriously considerd painting my 1000f, like a early unlimited... I want to make the ride over the mts. to see the unlimited museum, in Kent wa. As a kid, i came up w/ an idea for lessening blow overs... that moveable wing between sponsons... It was two years later, I saw it in use. I should have patented that one !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the link... hey, are you anywhere in wa.???? that trip to the museum, would make a great ride... Clean and free, Ripp'n ( U-7)

I lived in San Diego for 15 years and went to the Bayfair Thunderboat Regata every year without fail. I just recently moved to San Francisco, and as it is always in September , it's on my mind and I decided to put together some of the video and pics I took over the years.

Glad you liked it!
