I just got back a few minutes ago from a quick trip down through the hills to price some bits for my soon to be done, cam chain & tensioner replacement ..
Yer I could have phoned , but the ride was nice ...friggin windy but nice .. (only 110 klms total )

I was traveling along at about 120klms ( 70mph ) open road ,. but huge pine trees lining this section of road ... when fu $#%%#k me .. if this bloody pine cone falls from a tree ahead of me about 50 yds ..and begins to launch a full scale frontal attack on me and my ride !!!..

I went left ..the friggin cone goes left ... I go right .. the friggin cone bounces right ...
I am now only a split second away from impact when it decides to take a weird side bounce and leaps off to the side of the road !! and me and my now severe heart attack are under full brakes ready to hit the chute ....
unreal though ..this thing I was sure was remotely controlled to come get me ...

IT WAS SOOO CLOSE ...and these things are hard and weird shaped ...I dont think actually running over them would be good either

Anyone else been attacked by friggin UFO'S while ridding ??

I got such a bloody fright because this thing fell 50 yds up the road ,thought nothing really of it ... but then.. no **** it bloody came for me ....
Self propelled maybee ? friggin possums

 

Yer , the roads were near empty this morning ... thank goodness..

and I am extremely aware of object fixation ...
mate I was heading everywhere but at it ...it was following me !!! ..
I swerved ..it swerved .. no **** !

I was following a bunch of mates quite a few years ago heading back to my house up in the foothills 3 hrs from where I am living now...

One of my mates , just lost the plot half way through a corner , stood his bike up
( 900 Kawasaki ) and proceeded to leave the road at around 100klm per hr and shoot up this bumpy little walking track that shot off the side of the corner .... well the guy right behind him was obviously fixated on him up front and he immediately stood his bike up and headed off the road and up the same bloody ****ty track ... no injuries , no damage just lotts of mud and **** all over them... and some red faces as we all turned around to see if they were ok ... and to hang **** on them

It was so funny to watch ... if there had been any bush walkers around , they would have **** themselves

 

Yer .. did the chicken at least try to get outta the way ? or was it one of them possessed ones ... 'the kamikaze chickens"

Don't think pine cones would make very good tucker mate ...

It was extremely windy ..going down the first part on the freeway I was wind surfing the whole lane in parts .... very windy mate
