Nicholas that's great I wish more people in general would get behind this program especially with the economy in the shape that is in this year there are more needy children than ever a lot of you guys have a misconception that I am all cold steel and no heart and that is the fathers from the truth programs like this are what I really live for and wishedmy situation was little different this year and I was able to participate in a more active manner -hands on. But before you guys run out and buy that next throwaway gadget that you're going to spend less than100 bucks on think about how much of a difference of $20 toy could make to a needy child

Apparently, one of the left out groups of kids who don't get toys are the older boys.

So instead of the teddy bears...I ordered 2 of these bad boys for the Toys for Tots program.

Tell me...what adolescent boy wouldn´t want a toy of a robot that is built for death and destruction! It´s going be very difficult for me to put it in the pile, though, but a kid has to do what kid has to do...*heavy sigh*

Okay I realized the economy is tight worldwide also realize there's a lot of you out there that may be separated from family and friends and for various other reasons, not filling the Christmas spirit. But I can think of no greater joy than helping those less fortunate than myself actually think Charles Dickens with a Christmas Carol caught the true essence of the Christmas spirit. I'm not asking you guys to give your left nut just do something worthy for the children in your communities that are victims of circumstances not of their own making. Just do it for the sheer satisfaction of knowing you have helped those less fortunate than yourself and don't forget about the elderly. Swt poet posted a short piece in my recovery thread. About an act of kindness that I fully intend to carry on this year it's halfway down the pagein swt poets post.. I challenge each and every one of you to do half that much with half as much humility
