ToyRide Dec.3rd in anaheim
anybody goin' to the toyride this sunday? we're coming from the san fernando valley so if anybody wants to meet up, let me know. i think it'll be a lot nicer to ride with more people so yeah....
Check out the folks over at Hollywood Bike Night. Most of them are rolling to the toy ride from the SFV...
Where in anaheim is the meeting? Where are they riding too after they meet in anaheim. I just may bring the Marines up in force since we put this on. Please give me as much info as you can so i can pass it around Camp Pendleton.
The annual Toy Ride is not the Marines' annual toy drive, but you can bring your friends...the more, the merrier. This is put on by an Orange County sportbike club to benefit an orphanage. Here's the info...

Six years ago, when an Orange County Ca based Sportbike club set out to help a local orphanage no one realized it would turn into a huge tradition helping hundreds of kids every year. Now, known to most Sportbike riders as TOYRIDE, we host the only Sportbike charity event of its kind. Rain or shine, we ride for the kids.
In an effort to help thousands of foster children in Southern California, Cash funds will be donated to Celebration One, which awards college scholarships to students in the Independant Living and Foster programs.

in conjunction with Advanced Kawasaki has donated a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 636 to announce the 2006 ToyRide event. The opportunity drawing will be held at the ToyRide event on December 3, 2006 at Angel’s Stadium in Anaheim Ca.

The first few years the children at Hollygrove were well cared for by the generous donations collected at the various ToyRide events. Last year, as they transitioned the Hollygrove kids into foster care we followed right along. ToyRide announced Los Angeles DCFS as the recipient for the 2005 donations. A Christmas party for all the ToyRide recipient children was held and SANTA came in on a Sportbike of course! All proceeds after expenses benefit DCFS. I might make it out there for a little bit but I won't ride cuz I broke my collar bone. Dainese (my work) is gonna have a booth set up out there but I have to work the store that day.
Anyone who knows they are going for sure post up and I'll do the same when I find out more. Good times
