Motorcycle superstore has always been the cheapest and fastest for me. Plus you get a 5-10 dollar off coupon when you order 100 dollars or more of stuff. Ive ordered 3 sets. 2 BT-16s and my newest set of 2cts. My tires were always less than a year old when i got them so im sticking with them.

Bought from there also they are pretty cheap but this time Ebay is a better deal. Motorcycle Superstore wants about $317.00 and ebay has them for $282.98.

No, defects should not be a problem. Standards are pretty high on bike tires and manufacturers don't want to screw with that.
I usually get my bike tires at motorcycle superstore, but sometimes you can find sales other places. There's dennis kirk, indy superbikes, ebay, (depends on timing/what you're looking for) etc.
Moto superstore ships really quick (and it's usually free), they have a good selection, the tires have always been new, and the prices are always lowest or dam close to the lowest I can find. I also like them because I always end up adding odd chit to the order when I get tires and superstore has tons of that stuff for cheap, too.
