Later on I figured the cop *assumed* I had mirrors and saw him (while he was chasing me) and then had to rethink things when he saw I didnt. Another thing is: I'm 48years old. Its not like he had some bad mouthed young hooligan on his hands. I'm well spoken, etc. so there was that part too. It all happened just like I said. No mirrors. YES. I have them. I just took them off.. I'm actually a bad mouthed hooligan at heart and I dont give people behind me the pleasure of having my attention.

p.s. to bring this topic down to earth, the reason I was at grand canyon was because the girlfriend of the guy who got killed in a group ride of ours (that I recently posted about) was acting strange afterwords- like she just wanted to get away on her bike -anywhere. So I told her I wanted to go too. So we hit the grand canyon.
