Just wondering what the thoughts on Ben Spies are. Personally, I think he is gonna kick butt when he moves to MotoGP. He placed 6th in only 3rd time on a GP bike in some of the worst conditions GP has ever ridden in.

I hate to see him leave AMA, but it will make for some great racing in GP. Maladin will probably quit AMA if Ben leaves. So that may make AMA fun to watch again though. Seems like every race is just a race for 3rd as those two are always way out front.

 

i love watching Ben Spies....he has been great all season in AMA....and one of the most recent races when he accidentally false started and had to do a drive by or whatever then STILL came through the pack for second place was AMAZING riding.

 

I've loved him in AMA and I'll love him in GP. He's a rock star.

 

Is he still looking for a team or is he going with Suzuki?

 

id love to see him on repsol honda, but honda seems to dislike american riders.

 

There is talk of him switching to Honda, but is a satelite Honda team Gresini Racing, Not the Factory backed Repsol team.

If I was Ben, I would stick with Suzuki or another factory ride. A satilite team isnt going to give him the tools he is use to being a factory rider now. Plus, I dont think the satilite bikes are as competitive as the factory rides.

 

nah repsol doesnt like the americans they want one of their own winning for them.
