Hello all,

I came across a 98' SJE with around 30K. It's a clean bike overall. I'm a newer rider and I'm looking into a bike for my commute to work during the spring/summer. I've been looking into a newer model but I can pick this bike up rather cheaply. I like the fact that there aren't many around. Any thoughts and/or opinions about this bike are appreciated. Thank you.

 

I guess it depends on the price.

I think the Smokin' Joe one's are pretty dam cool. I remember when they came out.
I don't think I'd pay more for one over a regular F3, tho.... unless you really like it.

 

Thank you for your reply. I can pick this one up for $2300 or less. I personally wouldn't pay more for a 12 yr old bike. The color scheme has grown on me, but I had to look at it 3 or 4 times!
