Oh I do know what you mean about that F2, it was so, so pretty and I do love the old style full enclosed bodywork but if you saw my RR in the flesh it also looks a lot better than any pic I can take of it ... I don't really compare them as they are so different ..I loved the F2 for it's classy and elegant style but I love the RR for it's rakish and aggresive good looks and it's sheer power which is awesome, two very different bikes both loved by me :-)

I was only about 18 or 19 when I owned that bike and it was about 18 months old and the current model ..I was priviledged and knew that I was too, it felt fantastic to have that state of the art 600 back then and I loved every second with her :-)

1992 F2 white with red is what started it all for me. I was 13 and my dad had just got off deployment with the Navy. He saved up the cash over the 6 months he was gone. Walked into the Honda dealer and payed cash for one.

Sadly, 2 years later (just short of my 16th bday) my dad sold the bike on doctors order for a torn shoulder rotator cuff that would not heal.

I still love the white and red sceme. 1 out of every 500 were w/r that year.

That f2 on the other hand in that condition would turn my head pretty quick, and bring back fond memories of the old days too boot. Don't get me wrong I'm on the path towards a 1000RR myself when I tire of my f4i, and wouldn't trade either for an f2, but it does have a certain photogenic quality about it.
OY. Where's the love for the F3 Hang??!

I friggin love my F3. I'd take an RR in a heartbeat, but I'm not the least bit dissappointed with my F3. In fact, I've been pretty much ecstatic since I got it. Most of my friends can't understand it. lol I have one friend, who's on this board somewhere as a matter of fact, who got a 96 F3 right about the same time as me and he's the only one that gets it...
