There's an old thread from a guy who made an applicator so the tape goes on straight, on the Forum somewhere - do a check if you're interested.

It's in the How-To section. I personally found it useless as it didn't work as advertised for me, so I ended up just doing it by hand. It wasn't much of a problem.

Keep in mind that there is a difference between pinstriping tape and rim tape, in that pinstriping tape comes in rolls and rim tape comes precut and shaped for your rims. The instructions for the applicator apply to pinstriping tape, which is what I used.

I used pinstripe on my rims and it came out looking alright, theres a pic on here somewhere, I cant get to my photobucket account or i would post it up. Like I said, the pinstripe looks alright, but it took forever. If you are gonna do it just be ready to spend a lot of time to make it look good. Its way cheaper too. cost me like three or four bucks from auto zone. EDIT: i remembered the password, heres the link. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...r/IMG_0008.jpg

Actually the rim tape from Colorworks is straight as well, not pre-curved. It's matched to Honda colors as well.
