Default Sweet deal

Found out I get to take home all the copper from work today. About 180-200 pounds worth, and at 3 dollars a pound you can imagine how sweet that is. This Electricians Union Apprenticeship is turning out to be pretty effin awesome. Anyone else get any sweet perks from their jobs?

Hold onto it.. The price of copper will continue to rise. And with that much Copper you can do alot with it... I say hold onto it for a while!

I can't do anything practical with the copper they gave me. It's all super heavy duty stuff that ran out of a main panel in a school. Stuffs about as thick as my wrist. Maybe I'll weigh it out and see how much I actually have. I need plugs and a chain and sprocket kit for the bike and it'd be nice if that would cover it with some left over.

Hahah yeah it's all 4/0. I exaggerated the size, but it's all about an inch and a half thick. The rolls of it I have are all about as thick as my wrist.
