Superbikes on SPEED
So, did anyone watch the new show? Personally, I liked Greg White's show much much more. This one had a whole bunch of street stunting and squiding around so I turned it off. Nothing like giving sportbikes and even more tarnished reputation. [&:]
I didn't know anyone watched Nascar, you can only watch a dog chase his tail for so long.
So it sounds like spuerbikes was another "biker boys"
I had a friend set up the season on his pvr so I can watch it later.

I turned it off after about 10 minutes. It didn't seem like it had any preconceived notion about what the show should be about. So it turned into crap.
The kind of show I would like to see is something that shows someone who is just starting to race professionally in either AMA or Moto GP. They can talk about how they set up the bike, work with their team, and show what happens when they finally hit the track on race day. You can either follow them through the season, or do an "after action" report at the end of the season to see how they fared, what they learned, what works and what didn't, etc.

i was also thinki8ng that this would be a good show for the sportbike community but alas our hopes are dashed within the first 5 minutes of the show! did anybody see thet host had on all icon gear and clothing??? i wonder who the sponsor opf the show is haha and last but not least who watched it long enough to see the red 600rr do the mini burnout and then the chp rolls up next to him and just talks to him!?!?!?!?!? that never would happen where i live lol ok im done ranting haha
What I would like to see (and was hoping to see) is bike setup, reviews on gear/bikes, trackday segments, trouble shooting, riding techniques, maintenance, new products and things like that. In my original post ^ I was sorely disappointed. Greg White's show was SOOO much better. I don't want to see a bunch of queer 'street fighter' attitude squid garbage.
So, let's break it down: I have no reason to watch SPEED on tuesdays anymore. Corbin's "Ride On" sucks; it's one big plug for corbin stuff and the show licks my weiner in general. "V-Twin" is just a bunch of dirtball clowns. "American Thunder" also has a bunch of dirtballs on it with mega plugs for Kurakyn or however the hell it's spelled. Also has mega plugs for 'strip club bikes' and pole stripper parts for ad ons - if that doesn't say white trash, I don't know what does. Also one too many bike rally's at sturgis on the show. "Build or Bust" also licks my weiner because they have guys on there that really try hard to do their best only to get ripped down about what they're building because it's not up to 'their standards'. At least the dude with the mohawk tries to help the people out.
So yeah, the only good thing on speed now is F1, motoGP, AMA races and that's about it. I remember when they used to have all sorts of cool stuff on.
