Obviously a typo... idk if he meant theres only gna be 400 units for 2013 or 400 units in May or June... or 400 at his lot?? idk.. but

Prob the same situation in your area if you are interested.

sry for threadjackinggggg
Yeah, like Mike here is pointing out i'm waiting til they release the STi or turbo version. But i'm seriously highly interested in it. Was a slick looking little car. I'm sure it would be twerked out pretty good too with some minor mods.

(by the way Mike - you get to help me with all of that since you have Subaru experience and I do buy one)

Want the best advice...save...buy a house and park your used car & bike in it....buying a car that is more than what you need is all luxury......back in 2001, I was in the same situation you were, but I chosen to buy a house, in the most getto area....meaning that's the cheapest house one can afford....all my friend doubted me & said don't be stupid buying in such getto area. I scrape up, made a 10% down purchasing the house for $190K....meaning $19K down.... All i know at that time is that i only need one room and can rent the others out....What did I drive? A 87' Toyota Celia beat up.... But I drive it like a Porsche LOL.... years later, sold the home for $489K....but I chicken out when my agent push me to buy a four plex.....for $800k....2 years later, that four plex sold for 1.5mil.. I regret so much.....back to driving a caravan with kids...

Nothing in this world is guaranteed.....when money is flowing in, let it ride!!!! Milk it all!!! Why do anything to slow down the flow...sometimes opportunity in life only comes one time, though I missed to catch the big bus, I'm happy to have carpool once...and do try to get the most out of my money saved. I don't see why you would want to buy a house at 21? I got mine at 27....

No kids...So it's ok...once you have a wife & kids, your priority will change naturally, that's if you are a responsible parent....

So go for it...get the car and live life.......you are grateful to have loving parents...some of us never even know who our parents were? So we were less fortunately....

What ever decision you make...don't look back, enjoy and don't let anyone tell you differently...appreciate what you have now, not what you had, or could of gotten if...

I think I'm pretty well set as far as cusions. I haven't even cashed my last two paychecks yet, mostly because I haven't had the time but I don't need the money either. If I don't buy one big thing every now and then I'd have like 12k in the bank and that'd be my new safety cushion. I did just spend around 1,500 in parts and gear for the bike this winter but I've already recovered all of that and then some.

Thanks estate, that's the way I see it. By the time I want to buy my own place the car will be paid off more than likely. The more money I make the more likely I'll be adding a few hundred bucks onto every payment. Hell I'm paying 200 bucks a month now for the bike even though the payment is only $72. Having a reliable car is just as important in what I'm doing as having a good work ethic. And I don't live close enough to anyone to car pool. Yeah I've got the bike but that's only good for about 6 months out of the year here in NY. It's all about money management and not being stupid with it. Everyone of my friends with a spending problem constantly asks me how I manage what I have so well. Just gotta be smart and you can afford whatever you want. I'm not saying I'm some financial genius but I've spent a few hours figuring out what I pay out in a month and what I bring in, best and worst case scenarios. It's not like I haven't put any thought into this, it's just a bigger decision than normal and hearing different opinions help.

Last but not least, your health is THE biggest fortune in your life time....people get sick, all their money saved in their life time is spent on hospital bills....think about it...don't smoke, drink, drugs, ditto... It's tough...it's all around us...sport car = fine look ladies, sex, drugs, gamble, raves....I can spend the entire savings a few weekend of partying...seriously.

Stupid moves...

That's the best part, they still do too and only make a little less than me. Luckily I have good health insurance with a personal account with 4 or 5k dollars in it right now as well, but about 364 comes out of my check every week for that. Not that it wouldn't take long to wipe that out but it's better than nothing.

spend the money on yourself now, before you get married, get a house, have kids and all that. Treat yourself now, because in the future it won't be the same game.

+1....things change when we have kids....Married ain't too much different? Kids totally....suck up all the money. Survey says an average cost to raise a child from birth to 18 yo. It's $1000/mo....that's average.
