My stress free moments are in my favorite bay of water. I'm sitting on the waters edge, an impatient labrador at my side, eyes scanning the sky, I'm looking over a dozen or so blocks (decoys) that I carved myself from cork, when a pair of full mallards or maybe even pintails come circling in, wings locked, commiting to my decoys. A shot breaks the cold morning air and with a command the impatient lab has a job to do,she breaks the calm waters surface in an instant and brings the birds back. Wanting nothing more than a pat on the head she sits by my side, eyes scanning the sky again...........
