ya, that's what honda calls it. its the valve above of the head that pulls air from the airbox into the exhaust ports on the head - its for emissions. anyways, i got PAIR block-off plates and you can ditch the whole valve without throwing a MIL code. you'll see it under the flap under the airbox coming off the wiring harness - it simplifies the bike and frees up room.

how complex were the block off plates?

o its really easy man. all you have to do is unplug the valve, get it off, take the big bulky PAIR ports off. there's a total of 4 reeds underneath that. get a drill, drill out the screws on top of the reeds - but them back in, then put the block-off plates on. you're done.

yup, all i'll add is - i think that they're wanting you to use lock washers with that kit, i'd use loctite isntead. but yup, its a real easy and cool little mod.

Z, I'm really looking forward to seeing how you approach your street fighter design. One thing about a really classy looking street fighter is how clean they are kept. Since you'll have mostly all exposed area, be sure to stock up on cleaners. ;-)

lol oh no worries there i keep my bike shinyyyyyyyyyyy....

im excited to start it, and hope it turns out how i want it as im selling my plastics to fund the switch lol...

worse case i suppose i can always get new ones in the future
