Stop lights?

I used to ride from New Orleans to Dallas on a regular basis and always at night I worked 2ed shift there was the one little town where I had to make a left turn to get back on the highway and a cop that always sat across from the light hiding behind a billboard. I usually had to wait at least 20 mins for the left turn signal. I know that cop had the switch or something and was over there laughing at me saying "come on run it" I once waited so long I got off the bike and had a smoke.

i'm pretty sure they are triggered by magnetics and the metal in the cars, not by weight or pressure.

I head to work really early am as well and usually i only have issues with 1 light, sometimes the highbeam on the bike will switch it but think its to low, i can flash it with my lifted truck and it changes right away lol.
Course the ride to work is through the middle of no where anyway so running em isnt a issue

I have many lights like that where I live. There have been multiple times where I would sit there and wait. Sometimes I have vehicles pull up next to me so the light will trip for me. Other times I will just go after a few times of the light changing. Luckily haven't been caught by any of the cameras yet. Waiting for that day to come.
