yo cat sorry to hear about your bike, and i understand what you mean about not wanting it back. not just because you can get a new one now but because its been defiled someone else has used and abused your baby and thats just wrong. good luck and if you finally do catch up with those @$$ holes hit em a few times for me too ! and also good thing you got insurance

Eric, I live in Thousand Oaks but was hanging out with some G/Fs that live in Van Nuys. Collins st near Burbank and Van Nuys Blvd. Cops said there were 13 bikes stolen in the last two days so keep an eye out.

Ferrari, Thanks for getting it! ; )

To the rest of you, thanks for the sympathy. I should find out by Saturday if they find it or not and my adjuster says the bike is valued at $6500. She said the mods were inconsequential. I am okay with the comps cause I only paid $4600 and i did the mods my self. I have a $100 deductible so payoff will be $6400!

Not in Cali my friend. All bikes are over priced out here but I should still be able to pick up something nice.

really? guess it goes with the cost of living out there. here in TX the market goes from 3500-6000 for average bikes....there are the 600RR and 1000RRs that are almost new going for like $7000+.

Hummm, maybe I should wait till I get there to buy another one. Don't know if I can wait that long though. Here in Cali, riding season is pretty much year round. What's it like there?
