its pretty much year round here too, depending on what you can handle and how you dress. it does tend to get cold from jan-mar or apr. i bought my bike in january and rode it then, some days are cold and some are not so cold. really depends. the weather is real radical here. but it can get into the 20s or lower for a month or two.

We have some pretty fair prices here in Colorado. Check it out. sale-194276965@craigslist.org
Our ride season is just about over here. About Nov. 1st. You can ride all year but have to pick the days and have good cold weather gear. I don't ride much after the first big snow because they use so much sand it gets trickeeee. When they don't use sand they use that mag. cloride crap. It is sprayed on the street the day before a snow and it is slicker than ice. That and it takes forever to clean it off your scooter.
Sorry- back to your problem. I am sure things will work out for you. Just don't be in a hurry. Make sure you get the bike that you want. Does that sound like a father thing? Sorry again.
My Best, BT (Jess)

Nah, just some sound advice!

Living in Cali, even with snow only an hour away, I've never been in it. I don't ride in the rain and I couldn't even imagine riding in snow! Crazy!

I really like that 01 F4i. I almost pulled the trigger on one but went for the sig. cheaper 1999 F4 earlier this season. I am a big fan of that color scheme (and nto one of the silver and red). If you can talk the guy down to 5k i would do it. Tell him that since it has been sitting for so long you need to get new tires and get it serviced... any kid of bullsh*t to get a better price! (although you should get new tires)

Just found out that the bike is at a dealership, not private party. I think I am going to wait. I love the split seat for sure though.

Who knows, maybe I'll get a call tomorrow that they found my bike but I seriously doubt it.

ValleCat,
Man!!! I live right by there. I already told my roommate to keep an eye out for any suspects. Well hopefully they don't find your bike and you can get a new one. and Yes prices on bikes are pretty high out here in Cali. probably do to our weather. Any spots out here in the valley that you know off were some riders hand out at?

Eric, there are alot of cool places depending on what you are into. We should do a SFV ride once I get mine back (or another one for that matter).

In the meantime, If anyone else lives in the SFV, LOCK YOUR BIKE IN YOUR GARAGE OR BRING IT INSIDE!

Well I feel you pain, I just had my 2002 954rr which had 5300 miles on it STOLEN frome some WORTHLESS @$$ PR|CKS. And on top of all the frustration, I was too stupid to keep my insurance so I still get to pay over 8 grand for the next couple years......... how depressing....... So if anyone finds out any info on the bike I'll be willing to give a hefty reward......The bike was stolen from Fort Myers FLorida... It had Ohio Plates and an Ohio TItle...
