starting to get irritated
damn man...everyone here in upper ohio is 15 over to get looks....dude we frickin fly up here on our bikes and usually even statees dont bother us too much. and if your goin 30-40 over the speedlimit the cops just keep goin and dont even bother turning around lol.....so its a bell curve
Yea normally this is how it works... i didn't have any moving violations ( about 13 non moving violations but thats neither here nor there) in 6 years .. then it happened i wrecked my bike/ with no insurance1 point then i got a exabition of speed ticket in my GTO like 4 month later 2 points. 3 points in less then 6 months and they treaten to yank my license... now i drive like an old man on a 1krr... hahaa my buddy and i will roll places and i'm like Hey try to keep it below the speed limit.... cops are asses.... Also someing lower profile will work like i traded in the GTO for a ram 1500 and now cops don't even look

Don't give us all a bad name here in Wisco. Cops around here are like that too. Even a few over will get ya in the GB area.

I usually go by a general rule that I dont go more than 10MPH over on the interstate and 5-10MPH on the highways. I think its safer to be passing traffic on a motorcycle than to be right there with it.
For what its worth no i was not weaving or passing or anything like that.I had just put a new tire on and was runnin up a few highway miles to break it in a bit. No cars around, it was near 11pm. I didnt even think the lights were for me, i was in the middle lane of 3, saw the bubbles and got into right lane and started slowing so he could go by, then he just got in behind me and i'm like, oh i guess thats me [:'(]. Guess im gonna park it for a few days, i hate that if they come in 3's i can put it off a lil longer LOL.
Speeding is speeding. As far as I know, there is no rule of thumb for "how far over the limit" will get you pulled over and cited. If its a few over, then it may be dismissed by a judge. But ultimately, the authorities can pull you over and give you a ticket, that if you choose to fight, may cause you to miss work and/or just flat out be a major pain in the a$$ to attend too. Where I live, if you go to court over a speeding ticket, you may get driving school. Which does not take points nor is it reported as a speeding ticket. It is dissmissed. Not reported to the insurance company. Reason they do it here so often? A speeding ticket cost about $158.00. Approx. $128.00 of which is sent to Montgomery. Thirty of which is kept by the local police station. If driving school is awarded by the judge, the cost for the school is $100.00. All of which is kept by the local police station because the ticket was dismissed by the judge. Pretty smart marketing by our local defenders.
