More forgiving, yes, but much lower population density, so it has a higher chance of getting stranded for extended periods. Besides, us Northerner's ride until there's ice on the ground

Those Plain States are gonna be hell no matter what, though. . .

Jonny look at what that population density has gotten you, a sprocket in the same spot for ever. Look at density past chicago. The sprocket will never make it over the Rockys unless a Goldwing is running that leg. Kansas doesn't have gas stations close enough much less people.

We ride till there is ice on the road too...

Of course it is the middle of October and was above 90 this past week. We get ice about as often as the underworld.

Bring south, at least it will be moving.

Hey, I've got a Goldwing and winter gear, and I don't mind finding excuses to use them.

We ride till ice in Texas but most ice is in Ice houses here. Besides in Texas if you get more than 27 snowflakes the F-250s start flipping like cockroaches on extermination day.

I am riding the Toys for Tot's toy run in Mckinney tomorrow low 31f high 47f I would like to hear from any of you that will go so I am not alone with the Son's of Algebra (Harley crowd in Dallas)
Entry is one toy I am bringing a few. can't beat that.
