um... correct me if i'm wrong... but wouldn't the sprocket at some point lay in the hands of members from "the other coast" if you are in fact planning on setting up a race??

Why not pick a point that is in the center of the country. like the "Geographic center of the US" for example... Just got this from a google search: It is located at the intersection of AA Road and K-191, accessible by a turn-off from U.S. Route 281 approximately a mile north of the town

So, if you live West of Longitude 98o 35', you're on team west... if you live EAST of Longitude 98o 35' you're on team east.

pick a day to start and get the ball rolling. its a little late in the season now, but i think if we get it set up fast its do able... then next year we recruit all the same riders who did a leg to move one coast-to-coast and back... this way we know who's willing to take a leg.

Thoughts???

Maybe next year, we could move one across the country from the South. Say from Florida to California. No "seasons" to worry about. That way, we would have all year and then some to complete. Possibly more people participating as well.

Your a bit ambitious with that 2016 call on that sprocket. might be more like 2025.

Nothing stopping you from starting your own sprocket drive hit it up. At least we could get one cross country.
