I hear you about getting worried everytime you see or hear something on the news about a bike accident.
I had a friend just recently get into skydiving. It seemed like months after he got hooked, I would hear things on the news once a week about some accident. Called him everytime I would hear something, but realized it would be like family or friends calling me everytime they heard something.
I think the best thing to do is just come to the understanding that we all live life on the edge, one way or the other. All worrying is going to do is give you ulsers, and grow old quick.
I just hope my family and friends dont ever have to recieve that phone call!

Ahh its great! ... I've had the bike out now for the past 4 days Spring's definately in the air. Pavement is still cold though [&:].
I guess because people don't expect to see motorcycles running around on a Partly Cloudy Day when its been 30 degrees at night here, and this pickup - (my closest encounter with an unaware driver) pulls out of a 711 right as soon as I was passing the entrance. I guess his A-pillar was blocking his view of me.... but needless to say I coulda reached out and slapped his hood. [:@]
