Its not required in FL either
Its not required in FL either
Basic Insurance Requirements
If your motor vehicle is registered in Florida, you must carry a minimum of
* $10,000 of personal injury protection (PIP) and
* $10,000 of property damage liability (PDL).
Note: The DHSMV will suspend your driver license, vehicle tag and registration if your insurance company cancels your
PIP and PDL coverage and you fail to obtain new coverage.
You must then provide proof of insurance and pay a reinstatement fee to get your license, tag and registration reinstated.

even if he doesn't have any insurance and it is required, he still can get money, the vehicle was not moving during the accident, you dont need insurance to park something.

I'll let the resident law man ffingers answer more accurately, but I "think" that still depends on whether it was private or public property .. e.g. was the parking lot a public university parking lot or some such or a private lot. Either way it's also going to depend if the other driver is in the same boat or not because if s/he's not insured either, I believe you're SOL. Looking forward to more informed answers though.

Not even that is required. You do not have to insurance what so ever here.

Washington law requires insurance ID cards to include the following information:
* Insured driver's name
* Insurance company name
* Policy number
* Effective and expiration dates
* Description of the insured vehicle, including year, make, and model
Any vehicle that is registered in Washington must be insured for at least the following amounts of liability:
* $25,000 for bodily injury or death per person per accident
* $50,000 for bodily injury or death for two or more people per accident
* $10,000 for damage to the property of others per accident
Every single state requires liability at the very least, without fail. Again, why do people post incorrect information?

Washington does not require insurance for motorcycles directly, but riders do have minimum insurance requirements for financial responsibility.
In other words you have to have liability insurance. If you have it with a car already then you're covered. again, this is from the state website.
You have to have liability coverage to operate a motor vehicle including motorcycles.
