I was pissed atmy daywhen I posted my first response. I just think it is stupid toinvest your energy in a scheme that is not going to do anything. If these gals really wanted to change something, they have to do more than wear pink shirts at a political hearing. I think you can say anything you want (that is the beauty of our country), but if you are screaming into the vacuum of space what good does that do?

Yeah, it turned political really quick (I think because of me). Either way, apologies. I know me being right all the time can cause some people to get upset. Kidding. I still love all of you this much....[sm=smiley31.gif]

There is limit to freedom of speech. You are not protected under ur 1st amendement rights when what you say directly insigates violence/conflict.

Example #1: You cannot yell "fire" in a theater.
Example #2: The KKK can assemble in public butt cannot chant "all blacks should hang" while doing so.

I dunno, call me nieve, but since when could you live in a democratic society and not be liberal to some degrees.

My point is this, free is not free. I support our troops in everything they do for other countries, which for the most part, they have done more of since I can remember. The times I do remember when they have been there for our country is when federal emergencies are inacted, border patrol, state emergencies, and back in the day...marshall law. What is free for you is free, so long as it doesn't violate the rights of others. free speech, religious practices, same/hetero sexual relationships, etc...

Look at the lady who peacefully protested in front of bush's ranch, when her son was killed in Iraq. She started out with a vehicle sleeping in it, then look at what it turned out to. Dont we think that people would have reasonably exercised logical methods of finding solutions to things individually, and only when they're not heard do they become a group, MADD, AARP, unions, and the likes are just some examples. People resort to actions like we see as a result of corporate governance, not by the people governace. FU and the chess game our government leaders play with the special interest yeah-sayers. Most of the times, we look at an individual and judge them by their actions as opposed to considering what drove them to that extreme, and figuring out how to salvage our dying rights of being heard. Why, how? Easy. Government is a system that is too large for anyone person or group to control to any degree of normalcy. All too much do things fall through the cracks and obviously people know this and use it to their advantage.

ok, I'm done dreaming of a perfect world....shame isn't it, that even the world around each of us can't be perfect for even ourselves, because of others. Hmm, I wonder if they think the same.

I contemplated submitting this post but said aw to heck with it, and let it roll.
