Kid... sorry if I have frustrated you. Your message was clear and well needed.

You know... I find myself so frustrated lately. So many new members already, people getting to know each other all over again.

I have done my best to choose my words carefully in every thread I get involved in. Even more so lately as I've apparently been labled, Forum Jackass. My involvement in a thread these days seems to kill it instantly.

That's fine. But if you guys want to act like I've never helped any of you or offered my help, so be it. I've given so much time to this forum that after 2300 posts you'd start to think people got an idea of who you are.

I've offered constructive feedback, stimulating conversation, helpful suggestions for troublshooting and even some how-to's. But apparently all that is overshadowed because I felt someone here on the forum was putting up a front - and I called them on it.

You know what guys? I DID make a, "nicely worded post" about this very topic on the 6th of March...

Here's the link:

https://cbrforum.com/m_501343/tm.htm

Notice how sincere I was. Making note that while a wave of warmer weather finds its ways to our streets, we need to ride in rememberance of those we've lost.

But seriously, that's not my biggest problem. Some of you guys may skip over a thread when you see my name as it's author - so maybe you never saw that one. That was written on March 3rd, though - and since then we've had 3 more accidents.

Also, for anyone saying anything about my wording in the initial post...

I clearly said, "they were riding over their ADMITTED limits." Folks, that means they knew they were in over their head, aka - NO ONE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF THEM - IT WAS COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE.

I can't help you guys read, all I can do is put exactly what I mean into words. I don't edit my posts because I don't like it when people change their words. I'm not changing my words and those of you who can see my sincerity, I truly appreciate it.

I feel like the most misunderstood person in the world right now, an that really bothers me because Ihave made this place my second home. I have joked and laughed with most all of you guys and even traded some rib shots. I've looked at your pictures and even offered some of my own, writing to you guys about stories I've had and reading yours - I've enjoyed mostly every minute of it.

I can't believe I'm going to say this to you guys, but my feelings are actually hurt. Also, I don't want any apologies because an apology means you're not going to do it again (to me). You guys said what you did for a reason and it's those reasons that I'm going to simply remove myself from the forums.

I know there was probably a big sigh of relief from whoever has made it this far into my sob story. There is nothing I can offer you guys anymore that you can't get somewhere else. Therefore any more time I spend here is more than likely just going to be used defending myself when I know there isn't a reason to, so why do it, you know? Sure, I could stick around and just watch everything I say, but that's hardly what I do in my home and to be honest, I've felt like this was home for some period of time now.

I'm going to just take the entire summer off from here. Plenty of trips to be made and lots to do (Indy MotoGP this year!), so if I make it back this fall, I sincerely hope that everyone who I've been involved with on this forum is still here and still alive.

Please, be safe guys. I really get a bit nausea thinking about that kid from the 954 forum last year. I don't want to see it happen again.

Take care guys.

peace.

P.S. I'd like to thank the mods and others for letting me buy and sell so much stuff on here - thank you. Thank you to those who have purc

i saw nothing wrong w/ the post. maybe b/c it was in a way about a few people who have wrecked recently and are feeling down, they maybe took it personal. i dont think its cause for you to up and leave the forum. probably 80% of us have never met another member in person. no need to let someone you've never even met get you so worked up or upset. on here its only words. also, who cares if someone skips over your posts when they see you are the author of it........for all the people who skip over it, im sure there's just as many members interested in reading it.

stick around, brother. your stuck w/ us

Kid,,,, i have read most of your threads, you are actually one of the people that if i see has contributed to a thread i read, you are serious when needed and funny as ****e as well, i have only been a member a short time yet as you said i to have made this a second home, leaving the forum is not what we all want, the newer members need the members like yourself to be here, it is what makes this forum great. i respect all the members that have been here longer then i. you are one of those people. please , stay.
