I also do sky diving during the summer, do a couple volleyball leagues, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, water skiing and just beach fun in the summer along with regular trips to see the brew crew in milwaukee, four wheeling and deer hunting. anything to get me out of the house pretty much lol but im close to buying my first home so i'll prob be spending a bit of time stayin at home now working on that and just being happy that i have my own house now lol.
Congrats on the house! I would like to buy my first house at the end of this year. I'll have to see if it's possible though..

You lost 50 pounts and 16% body fat since new years? That's quite impressive! I'm 6'2/6'3 201bls and around 10% bodyfat (I used to be really skinny so I'm all muscle).

I only work out 3 times a week in the gym but I do a full body session. I'm very, very strong but not huge (which is exactly what I want ). Have you tried deadlifts and one of those ab wheels? If you want to get a strong core then deadlifts will get you there. You should also look into Krav Maga. It's a whole mix of martial arts and it really get's the blood pumping and heart racing.

Do you have a goal weight/%?

thanks a lot YUM and U.A.N yeah a lot of my friends and family were impressed that i lost it in a short time span i pretty much did a cold turkey diet (not a real literal diet lol). i cut everything out no soda no sweets no artificial nothing, just lean meats salads chicken eggs bacon and occasional low carb whole wheat bread only drank water or sobe life water and 1 or 2 glasses of skim milk a day and lots of fruit and veggies, for core i do hanging leg lifts inclined situps and twists with medicine *****, throw medicine ***** at the gym walls in different variations side planks straight planks, things of that sort i never tried a ab roller i heard those rip on the abs good tho, never even heard of krav maga i'll have to look into that, id like to get to 170 and 10-13% body fat, but not so concerned about the weight, im mixing in more weight lifting so im sure im gunna put weight back on from muscle mass, cause when i first started i was just pretty much doin the kickboxing twice a week but running and doing the eliptical everyday at least 30 min a piece cause thats all the gym will allow in one sitting so other people can get a turn. i usually do about 4.5 miles in the 30 min span now, i dont want to get super bulked up just athletically fit but def want my body fat to go down more, im starting to see a 4 pack but want a 6 pack lol, ive havent seen my abs since freshman year of high school 12 years ago lol. and yea the house is awesome it isnt anything extravagant but i like dont need nothin big right now, just me and the fiance and kids are a long way off lol, but i knew the original owner who was a house builder/ carpenter so he took pretty good care of it has nice suttle wood work and trim and he just redid the fire place in tile and new mantel it looks nice, its just a nice cozy place with room to add on which is why i really wanted it, he ended up moving up north and couldnt sell it so he ended up forcloseing on, i bought it from the bank at auction i was the only one that showed up since i live in a smaller township area and the only advertise by the wall listings at the police station, i ended up getting it for $60,000 and appraisel was at 135,000 so i got lots of equity already so gunna refinance after getting settled a little and pull some money out of the house for remodeling the kitchen and finishing the basement gunna do a lot of it myself and with my new neighbor who has also been a good friend of mine for years and was a carpenter most of his life lol, its almost like a fairy tale but for real, i just thank God that im blessed enough have this happen to me, im usually the unlucky guy lol.

Pranks.. phanks.. I mean planks () are good but they are static. You'll need some movement in there to really get strong. Try the exercise pictured below. You basically just stand up straight with a heavy weight in one hand (some people do them with a weight on either side but it defeats the purpose) and t hen bend over to the side using just the upper body (don't use the hips). Do x amount on one side then switch over. You can also make it slightly more dynamic by changing the angle slighty with every rep. First stand up straight and bend over to the side, then to the side again but slightly back the next rep slightly more to the back. Come back to the side and then lean forward a bit more until you basically just do a single armed deadlift. Place the weight on the floor in front of you, pick it up with the other hand and do the same on the other side.

Anyway back on topic.

Who else has some cool hobbies?

I know this is an old thread, but it's a way to tell everyone more about myself. I am seriously into anything saltwater. Lived at the beach my whole life, but live near the mountains now (more twisties) . I have 3 saltwater fish tanks a 180 gallon and a 34 gallon at home, and a 24 gallon on my desk at work. I am a college student in Civil Engineering and I work full time. Add to that, I have two wonderful kids and I am happily married, plus I ride every chance I get. That makes me very busy, but I love my hobbies and life. I hardly get a chance to post, but love all the information that this site has to offer. Thank you for that.

Here is a few pics of my other hobby.

I did the same thing. Grew up on the beach, moved to the mounatins and set up 5, yes, 5 saltwater tanks. I loved them, they are so colorful and beautiful. Now I live in Texas and this is my fish tank. It hangs on the wall above my desk at work. Don't have to feed the fish or clean the tank, just dust it off once in a while.

Now back to the topic. I like anything outdoors. I spend most of my summer at the lake on the jet ski or down at the coast kayak fishing. I also hunt, ride atv's, go off roading in the 4x4, ride horses, raise cattle and catfish, and from March thru September I'm the pit crew every Saturday night on my husbands race car.
