Hmmmm,

Dependant on if I want to take the risk of missing "one lastride before winter", may wait another two weeks to make sure.

Finnaly mount my FE with new rear signals, and run extended signal leads to hook up an integrated later, Flushmounts, wash / wax bike , wash / grease chain. Organize garage and put bike to the side, infront of the my CJ5 for winter.

winterize everything blah blah blah

I finally got all my stuff moved into the new place... just got back up here yesterday afternoon with my car and trailer. Now I gotta unpack everything, and do some cleanup around the yard too, and cut the grass if I can get the lawn mower started, lol

Holy sheep dip, that looks crazy! I don't think I would have the patience or skill to work on something like that...and I wouldn't have the ***** to fly it (expensive habit because they crash).

I've been working like crazy on my bike this week. All my main parts in on what I like to call Project Flying Turd...
https://cbrforum.com/m_420338/tm.htm

I got my new Vortex sprocket on last night and bought a chain breaker and mini-press today to put my new chain on. So hopefully tonight (Unless I fall asleep early) I'll have my chain on.

Then all I need to do after that is get the new tires on and I'll pretty much be ready to ride.

Progress Report

First a list of what I did not get done:

The tapered Roller bearings and...
I forgot to mention that I also had new Vesrah pads to install. I didn't get to them either.

What I did Accomplish:

Got the fork springs in first thing this morning. I elected not to install bearings as I may decide to rip out forks for a full revalve or Axxion cartridge. They can be hateful and time consuminganyway.

Set up the Scotts damper, popped on the pazzos, and took a couple of passes on my favorite gnarly road to test the effect of proper rate straight wound springscompared to the stock progressive units.

Came back and installed the Ohlins rear.

I'll stuff in the Vesrahs in the AM and go back out for a few more test runs.

Speedo Healer may have to wait .

Not bad progress on my list.

Hows it going for you guys?

Hope Flyou doesn't get up in the morning with a glue hangover

hell yeah. i wouldn't fly an airplane i built myself simply because i'd be required to slap this placard on the insturment panel:

imagine staring at that the whole time you're flying it...
